The Bean Row community garden took a great leap forward at the recent planning meeting (Sunday 19th February). Local group members met at the site to plan the veg plot and discussed how to transform our fourth garden into a local food demonstration garden. Space was planned for our stovies and soup patch, where to put the compost bin and what we can get from donations and what we need to buy.
The session finished with everyone present planting a bean sead. An appropriate start to the Bean Row garden.
